Every slice has a story. Our mission is to help people discover the pizzas, places, and people that make those stories worth sharing.
The OG Standard
Every restaurant begins with one pizza. The OG. Sausage and Pepperoni.
Why? Because if a restaurant cannot execute the fundamentals exceptionally well, specialty pizzas cannot hide weaknesses. The OG is the foundation — the baseline by which we evaluate craftsmanship, consistency, and care.
Every critique follows the Yo Slice Standard, beginning with the OG Sausage & Pepperoni evaluation. We document the restaurant's story, strengths, opportunities, and overall experience with consistency and integrity.
The Topping Scale
How We Measure Generosity
Topping Generosity is based on a single, practical question: if you cut the pizza into slices, how many pieces of sausage and/or pepperoni are on your slice?
No complicated formulas. No secret algorithms. We just count the toppings. It's the most honest measure of whether a restaurant is generous — or just getting by. We evaluate this on the OG Sausage & Pepperoni pizza at every restaurant we critique, so it's always a fair comparison.

Logo Usage Guidelines
The Yo Slice name, logos, badges, seals, and all associated brand marks are trademarks™ of Yo Slice. By using any Yo Slice logo, you agree to the terms below.
Permitted Use
Restaurants with an active Yo Slice Pro or Yo Slice Premium membership are granted a non-exclusive license to display Yo Slice logos on:
- Digital displays and in-store screens
- Printed menus and takeout flyers
- Restaurant websites and social media
- Window decals and signage
Membership must remain active. If a subscription lapses, logo display rights are revoked.
Prohibited Use
No one — including member restaurants — may use Yo Slice logos to create or sell marketing products, including but not limited to:
- T-shirts, hats, or apparel
- Stickers, magnets, or pins
- Mugs, glasses, or drinkware
- Any merchandise or promotional goods for resale
- Altering, recoloring, or distorting the logos
Unauthorized commercial use of Yo Slice trademarks is a violation of trademark law.
